Bexhill Lions Club supported a coach trip to London Zoo for Special Kids Bexhill.
The visit by families with special needs children allowed them to experiencea special day out together.
Sharon Minter of Special Kids Bexhill explained “Going on outingswith special needs children can be stressful for the families. We like to help by organisinga coach tripwhere they can travel together and support each other whilekeeping the cost as lowas possible.Ifthe trip does not to go plan for everybody the families don’t feel that they have wasted a lot of money and are then willing to try again with other trips giving their families more opportunities and chances offeeling included in life rather than isolated.”
Lion Simon Edwards who heads up Community Service added ” We were very pleased to help out to make this trip an enjoyable and memorable day for everybody.”
