Your Money makes a real Difference
Fundraising underpins our ability to provide much needed support.
We help the local community in many ways and every penny collected or donated, goes direct to supporting these good causes.
Nothing is spent on administration, as the Club’s running costs are funded by membership fees.
We raise money in both creative and traditional ways to make a real difference to the lives of ordinary people who need our help. Our activities are always changing but currently include: Teddy Bears Adventures, twice yearly quiz nights and our cream tea tent on August bank holiday Monday is always popular. We create a magical woodland environment known as ‘green fairy trails’, we surprise people with our You’ve been flamingoed fun way to raise funds, we run the twice yearly Bexhill street market and hold annual Christmas and Easter hamper lucky draws, street collections, a Santa’s grotto and Santa Dash and Santa Paws 5Km run.
We have an active fundraising committee which is always seeking new ways to raise monies in support of our various local and international projects.
These events are organised and staffed by Club members and on the day are supported by Friends of Bexhill Lions, who are part of our Pride of Lions.

Fund raising is fun …..which is one of reasons we do it and knowing that we are doing something to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
