Great news after several years the Bexhill Horse and dog show returns to the Polegrove  Bexhill on Monday 27th May.  Bexhill Lions will be running the dog show with our guest judge Natalie Langstrom who runs Watermill wolves https://www.watermillwolves.co.uk  If we are really lucky she will bring a couple of her dogs to meet the public.

Jayne Torvill OBE coming to Bexhill’s May Day Show

Olympic ice dance Gold Medalist and “Dancing on Ice” star Jayne Torvill O.B.E. has confirmed that she will be presenting the prizes at the Lions’ Fun Dog Show on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th May at The Polegrove.

Lion President Pam Edwards ” We are all delighted to welcome our Honorary member Jayne to the dog show and hope she has a great time. Having her present the prizes is going to be a very special moment for the prize winners.”

Jayne said “I’m really pleased to support Bexhill Lions at this event. Do come and enjoy all the show has to offer and help the Lions raise money for Brain Tumour Research, which is such a worthwhile cause.”

The event is part of the Bexhill Horse and Dog Show which will open its gates to the public at 9.00am. Dog show registration is 10.30am and judging of the 11 classes starts at 12.00noon. Entry fee is just £3 per class and there will be rosettes to 4th place. All proceeds from the Dog Show will support Brain Tumour Research.

The Horse and Dog Show has lots of things for all the family to enjoy; Carriage driving display, Hobby Horse classes, Bexhill 100 Classic Cars, Fun Fair, Heavy Horse Display, The 501st UK Garrison and Trade Stands.
