A team of Lions went to Mais House, the British Legion care home in Bexhill-on-Sea, to provide some much needed maintenance of the communal garden.
Lion President Andrea Etheridge and Lions Frank Hoy and Susan Taylor observed strict guidelines and brought their own tools and gloves.
The residents were indoors so they were able to work at safe distances weeding and clearing the flower beds.The stunning landscape gardens, complete with wheelchair access, provide a picturesque haven for both residents and visitors.
Andrea commented ” We are delighted to continue our support of Mais House, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak when the focus of staff is on the safety and well-being of theelderly and vulnerable veterans.”
