The teacher notes provide many ideas for cross curricular teaching, with the bonus of online access to free curriculum maps and resources for both key stages, including downloadable power point and reading guides.
There are suggestions for a variety of class and whole school activities which will enhance environmental learning and may be used together to work towards eco-school status, if you have not already attained that status.
