Following a request for support from the Sara Lee Trust, the Bexhill Lions Club was pleased to help out with a donation of £1,000. Funding was needed to further enhance the privacy in the counselling and complementary therapy rooms at the Therapy Centre in Sidley.
Maria Gonet, Fundraising Manager explained “support from the Bexhill Lions has enabled the Trust to install state of the art soundproofing measures at the Sara Lee Therapy Centre. This will help us ensure that we provide the best possible patient experience for all those that we care for and support. We are so grateful to the Bexhill Lions Club for their continued support of our work.”
A cheque for £1,000 was presented to Maria by Lion June Hough at the charity’s recent Quiz night held at the Chilli Tree Restaurant. June said “we are delighted to continue our support of The Sara Lee Trust and recognise the amazing service you offer through free complementary therapies and therapeutic activities.”
