Exciting New Event to replace Bexhill Street Market
Bexhill Lions Club has announced that their Bexhill Street Market, held over a weekend in May and September will no longer take place.
Instead they will be hosting an exciting new event for all the family on Saturday 16 May, A FUN Market Day.
This will be held on the Metropole Lawns and will include market traders, food and drink outlets as well as activities and games for children. Entertainment will be provided, including a visit by Uncle Bumble. It is also hoped to host a Tug of War challenge for local Pubs and Clubs.
Lion Brian Comber said “The Market Team spent a lot of time reviewing how we could overcome logistical challenges hosting in Devonshire Rd, whilst ensuring the continuation of a market. At the same time we want to reflect how best to support the local community, showcase local traders and crafts people and continue to contribute to the vibrancy of Bexhill. So do put the date in your diary and come along, have fun and a great day out in Bexhill.”
