Mr Jester, a super dalmatian, won the Bexhill Lions’ doggie hamper prize following the successful Dog Photo Booth at the recent Vintage Swing Fair, where fun images of 45 dogs were taken.
The dogs were dressed up with various props to make a fun and memorable photograph. All the photographs were then put on the Bexhill Lions Club Facebook Page and the winner was the one which received the most “likes”.
Nearly 3,000 people commented on the post or put a love or like emoji on the page.
The presentation was made by Lion President Simon Edwards supported by Lions Pam Edwards and Susan Taylor.
Jasper’s owner Lisa Jane said ” This was a lovely initiative from Bexhill Lions Club and it was fabulous to get involved with the activity in these trying times. The hamper is amazing, which he will share with his pals and a few local dog rescue charities , thanks everyone who voted for him and the amazing volunteers of the Charity.”
Organiser Pam Edwards added “We were delighted at the support we received and will now look at other dog related events we could run. We would also like to thank the following for their generous sponsoring of the hamper: Wobbly Rabbit, Pet Express, Poundland, Pets at Home and Purina Pet Care.”
