Lions and BSAG at the 1066 Cycling Festival. The Bexhill Lions were out with their popular BBQ at this year’s event on the DLWP lawns, rustling up their tasty Burgers and Hot dogs. The special of the day was a “World Cup Burger” which proved to be very popular.
The Bexhill Skatepark Action Group(BSAG) was also there, promoting their sport, selling T shirts, and raising awareness of their campaign for a new Skatepark. Bexhill Lions provide support to the group and their new banner was on display.
The good weather brought out cycling enthusiasts and the general public to enjoy a wide range of activities and demonstrations; 50 mile ride, Classic Cycle Group parade and exhibition, learn to ride, heritage trail, Sustrans, pedal powered scalextric, and the amazing Savage Skills Stunt Team. A good day was had by all.
