Bexhill Lions Club has donated £1,000 towards the cost of the new playground at Glyne Gap School. The special needs school has pupils with severe and profound  learning disabilities, many with other additional needs including physical and sensory conditions.

In presenting the cheque to Veronique Pullen, PA to the Headteacher, Bexhill Lions’ Vice  President, Andrea Etheridge  said “We are delighted to contribute to this much needed and anticipated  resource, which I’m sure will provide great fun as well as a creative and motivating learning experience in a safe place.”

Headteacher Kirsty Prawanna commented “We are very grateful for this generous donation from Bexhill Lions Club.  We are privileged to have the support of this vibrant, local charity and see the impact of their hard fundraising work in our community. Their donation will go towards a much needed all-inclusive playground for our pupils to enjoy for many years to come.”
